The Recommendation Engineer
Be the Business
AI Recommends
By Name.
I'm Lesli Rose. When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI who to trust, I make sure the answer is you. I work with Atlantic and Canadian tech founders: the SEO foundation first, then the authority signals AI actually pulls from when it decides who to recommend.

Visibility Reports Delivered
Custom AI Visibility Stack™ reports for businesses across coaching, automotive, healthcare, SaaS, and local services.
A customer asks ChatGPT: "What's the best {your industry} near me?"
AI scans thousands of signals, schema, reviews, content, third-party mentions. It builds a confidence score for every business it considers. Then it recommends two or three.
If your business isn't structured, cited, and trusted enough to make that shortlist, that lead is gone before they ever visit your website.
The Shift
Search Has Split in Two.
Most Businesses Are Only Visible in One.
Google still drives most discovery. But a growing percentage of buying decisions now start with an AI assistant, and those systems don't rank websites. They recommend businesses. If you're optimizing for rankings but invisible to recommendations, you're competing for half the opportunity.
Shows 10 links. You pick one.
Rankings, rich results, local pack visibility. This is the foundation. Without it, nothing else works. But it's no longer the whole picture.
AI
Recommends 2-3 businesses. By name.
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews. They don't show a list, they make a recommendation. If AI doesn't trust your business enough to recommend it, that lead goes to whoever it does trust.
The System
The AI Visibility Stack™
Five layers, built in order. Each one strengthens the next. Skip a layer and the stack collapses. Build them right and they compound, making your business harder to ignore and easier to recommend.
Layer 1
Foundation
Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, and the schema that tells machines what you are. The infrastructure everything sits on.
Layer 2
Trust
Author bios, reviews, credentials, third-party citations. The E-E-A-T signals AI weighs before it recommends you.
Layer 3
Authority
Money pages, content depth, topic clusters, internal linking. Structured so AI can extract and cite you.
Layer 4
Extraction
llms.txt, AI crawler directives, /llm-info, entity clarity. Content an assistant can quote verbatim.
Layer 5
Recommendation
The off-site loop: citations, mentions, and the authority signals AI actually pulls from when it decides who to recommend.
How I Work
Report. Plan. Execute.
No bloat. No committees. No 90-day discovery phases. I figure out what's broken, build a plan to fix it, and my team and I get it done.
01
Visibility Report
A real analysis of your technical SEO, schema, content, AI discoverability, competitors, and earned visibility. Not an automated score. A custom diagnostic that shows exactly where visibility is leaking, and what to fix first. You keep the report whether you work with me or not.
02
Plan
Prioritized roadmap. Highest-impact fixes first. Clear timeline. No 90-day discovery phases. I move fast because I know what matters.
03
Execute
My team and I implement everything. Schema deployed. Content structured. AI directives live. Results tracked weekly. You see exactly what changed and why it matters.
About Me
Lesli Rose
I started my sales career at 16 and was quickly the top sales person at the Footlocker. I went on to become a successful Realtor, raised four kids, and built a 43,000-record pedigree database from scratch. I know what makes people buy, and I know what it takes to build something real on the internet.
I bought my first domain, this one, lesli.com, in the 90s. I've been building online ever since. Now I live on a 50-acre peony farm in New Brunswick with the time, energy, and focus to apply everything I've learned to your business.
Technology has finally caught up to the speed I want to move. I've put together a small team of professionals, and together we turn that experience into measurable results for clients who depend on being found and chosen.
Sales instinct, not just SEO theory
Every strategy I build starts with one question: does this make someone more likely to buy? Rankings without conversions are vanity metrics. I optimize for revenue.
28 years building online
First domain in the 90s. Databases, e-commerce, content systems. I've watched every major shift in search, and this one, the AI shift, is the biggest yet.
One business per industry, per location
For local business clients, I only work with one business in your industry in your area. When I optimize your visibility, I'm not helping your competitor do the same thing.

Built for Businesses
That Win or Lose on Trust
I work best with businesses where being found and being chosen are the same problem. If your customers research before they buy, compare options, and pick the one they trust most, that's where AI visibility changes the outcome.
Local business exclusivity
For local clients, I only take one business per industry per location. If I'm optimizing a dental clinic in Fredericton, I won't work with another dentist in Fredericton. Your investment in visibility stays yours.
Dollars & Sense
Ads Rent Attention.
SEO Builds Owned Visibility.
AI Makes You the Default Choice.
Every dollar you spend on ads disappears the moment you stop. SEO is different, content published a year ago still generates leads today. Schema added once keeps improving visibility indefinitely. Authority compounds over time into a moat competitors can't quickly replicate.
Add AI visibility to that stack and you're not just being found, you're being recommended. That's the shift from competing for attention to being the answer when someone asks.
Paid ads
You pay. Traffic comes. You stop paying. Traffic stops. Every month starts from zero.
SEO
You invest. Traffic grows. You keep investing. Traffic compounds. Last year's work still produces this year's leads.
SEO + AI Visibility
Everything SEO does, plus AI recommends you by name. You stop competing for clicks and start being the default choice.
