Talks on Becoming the Business
AI Recommends by Name
I speak to marketing teams, founders, and business audiences about AI visibility: how AI assistants decide which brands to name, and the practical work that puts a business on that shortlist. Every talk comes from doing this work on real sites, my own properties first, then client engagements across coaching, automotive, healthcare, SaaS, and local services.
Topics I Speak On
Signature talk
Getting Recommended: How AI Assistants Decide Which Brands to Name
When ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity answers a buyer's question, does your brand get named? This session covers how AI systems actually read a website (schema, crawl directives, llms.txt), why strong Google rankings don't automatically carry over to AI answers, and the specific fixes a marketing team can ship in a week. Everything comes from hands-on client work on real sites, not theory.
For: Marketing teams, agencies, in-house digital leads
Keynote
The Recommendation Economy
Buying decisions are moving from ten blue links to a single AI recommendation. This talk maps the shift: how AI systems move from understanding a business, to trusting it, to recommending it by name, and what that means for where your next customer comes from.
For: Business owners, founders, executive teams
Workshop
Build It in the Right Order
Offer first. Then the website. Then SEO and AI visibility. Then content. Then one channel, done well. A working session on why most online businesses stall by building out of order, and how to sequence the next 90 days so every piece supports the one before it.
For: Founders and early-stage teams
Formats: 30 to 45 minute keynote or conference session, or a hands-on workshop. Every talk is tailored to the room; I research the audience's industry before I write a word.
Where I've Spoken
Big Hearted Breeders Conference
Invited speaker to an audience of professional dog breeders building ethical, sustainable breeding programs.
Iowa Pet Breeders Association
Invited speaker for the association's professional breeder membership.
Dog Shows in Nine Countries
Organized and ran shows, hosted the first American Bulldog show in Canada in 2001, and addressed the crowd from the center of the ring as a judge in Canada, the USA, Germany, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Russia, and England. Live audiences, no script, no second takes.
I've spent two decades in front of rooms that had somewhere else to be. Holding a crowd's attention while judging a live event teaches you more about speaking than any slide deck ever will.

Paste-ready introduction
Lesli Rose is a Canadian AI visibility consultant based in New Brunswick. She has been building on the internet for 28 years and has owned and operated the American Bulldog Registry & Archives since 2005, where she built a 43,000-record pedigree database herself, from the code to the schema markup. Today she helps businesses become the ones AI assistants recommend by name, with more than 50 visibility reports delivered across coaching, automotive, healthcare, SaaS, and local services. She has spoken at the Big Hearted Breeders Conference and for the Iowa Pet Breeders Association, and spent years organizing dog shows and addressing live crowds as a judge in nine countries.
- Based in Harvey, New Brunswick; available across Atlantic Canada and remote worldwide.
- Practitioner, not a theorist: I write the code, the schema, and the content I talk about.
- Session outlines and slide previews available on request.
