Who I Am
I am Lesli Rose, an SEO and AI discoverability consultant based in Harvey, New Brunswick, Canada. This website, lesli.com, is my professional site where I share insights, offer services, and connect with potential clients. This privacy policy explains what data I collect, how I use it, and your rights regarding that data.
What Data I Collect
Analytics data. I use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-55M451LBKK) and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use this site. This includes pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic location. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Contact form submissions. If you submit a contact form on this site, I collect the information you provide -- typically your name, email address, and message. I use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Cookies. This site uses cookies for analytics purposes (Google Analytics) and standard session cookies for site functionality. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies are used beyond Google Analytics.
How I Use Your Data
I use analytics data to understand which content is useful, improve site performance, and make better decisions about what to publish. I use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiries and follow up on potential consulting engagements.
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. I do not use your data for advertising. I do not build marketing profiles from your visit data.
Third-Party Services
Google Analytics 4. I use GA4 to collect anonymous usage statistics. Google may process this data on servers outside of Canada. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they collect: policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Tag Manager. I use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics scripts. It does not collect personal data independently but facilitates the loading of Google Analytics.
No other third-party services collect data through this site.
Cookies
Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These cookies expire after 2 years or according to your browser settings.
Session cookies. Standard session cookies may be used for basic site functionality. These expire when you close your browser.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using this site, but analytics data will not be collected from your visit.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping purposes.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months for user-level data). Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for data collection at any time

Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact me at lesli@lesli.com and I will delete it promptly.

I may update this privacy policy from time to time. When I do, I will update the effective date at the top of this page. I encourage you to check back periodically. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
