The Process
9 Sessions.
5 Layers.
90 Days.
How the AI Visibility System ships every layer of the AI Visibility Stack into your business. Session by session. Layer by layer. Score by score.
AI Visibility Audit Baseline
All Layers
Week 1
Deliverable: 30-query AIVS Score documented in your dashboard
10 buying-intent queries from your industry, run across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. I screenshot every result and capture who gets cited, from what sources, with what proof signals. This becomes the baseline number we improve from.
Why this session matters: You cannot prove change without a baseline. Most AI Visibility consultants skip this step and end the engagement with no defensible proof of work. This session is the contract.
Schema and Structured Data (Part 1)
Layer 2
Weeks 2-3
Deliverable: Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage schema deployed
Audit existing schema coverage. Identify missing types. Implement the foundation schema set: Organization (with sameAs profile links), Person for the founder/owner, LocalBusiness if local intent, Service for each offer, FAQPage with buyer-intent questions on every commercial page.
Why this session matters: 32 of the last 34 audits I reviewed had missing or incomplete schema. Person schema specifically was missing in 25 of them. This is the most consistent gap in AI Visibility work.
Schema and Structured Data (Part 2)
Layer 2
Weeks 3-4
Deliverable: Article, BreadcrumbList, AggregateRating, Review, HowTo schema across content + sameAs profiles
Content schema (Article, BreadcrumbList, HowTo where applicable). Aggregate rating and Review schema if you have a review platform. SameAs links to authoritative profiles (LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Crunchbase, industry directories). Knowledge panel optimization where applicable.
Why this session matters: Schema does not replace content. It labels content so AI extracts with higher confidence. Same article with proper schema gets cited noticeably more often by AI assistants.
Content Architecture
Layer 3
Weeks 4-5
Deliverable: Pillar page map, topic cluster structure, internal linking plan
Audit pillar pages and topic clusters. Identify orphan pages and dead-end content. Build the architecture that makes expertise extractable for AI. Internal linking from informational content up to commercial pages, sister-link pattern between commercial pages, decision-stage pages between awareness and conversion.
Why this session matters: Content without architecture is content AI sees as one-off. Architecture demonstrates depth on a topic. Depth gets cited; one-off articles get skimmed.
Buyer-Intent FAQ Blocks
Layer 3
Weeks 5-6
Deliverable: 8-15 FAQ block + FAQPage schema on every commercial page
Every commercial page gets 8 to 15 buyer-intent FAQs with 40-80 word answer blocks. Question phrasing matches real searches. Each answer is structured for AI extraction. FAQPage schema deployed.
Why this session matters: The FAQ block is the single highest-leverage AI Visibility asset on any page. AI assistants quote FAQ answers verbatim. This is where citation density compounds.
E-E-A-T Signal Expansion (Part 1)
Layer 4
Weeks 6-7
Deliverable: Author bios, credentials, third-party citations, review platform setup
Author bio buildouts on every published page. Credentials surfaced (LinkedIn, certifications, education, awards). SameAs profile lists. Reviews collected on Google, Trustpilot, or industry-specific platforms. Third-party citation acquisition via outreach.
Why this session matters: AI assistants weight E-E-A-T signals heavily when deciding whose name to put in an answer. Without consistent third-party confirmation, AI hedges instead of recommending you specifically.
E-E-A-T Signal Expansion (Part 2)
Layer 4
Weeks 7-8
Deliverable: Original research published, podcast appearances booked, directory submissions filed
Publish at least one piece of original research (data study, methodology paper, industry survey). Book 2-3 podcast appearances on shows in your niche. Submit to high-authority industry directories. The web should confirm the same story about your business from multiple trusted sources.
Why this session matters: Press, podcasts, and original research are the proof signals AI extracts when ranking experts. They take time to acquire and they compound. Starting now is the leverage.
AI Discoverability Layer
Layer 5
Weeks 8-9
Deliverable: llms.txt deployed, robots.txt configured for AI crawlers, entity disambiguation completed
Deploy llms.txt at the domain root with full entity description, services, and canonical references. Configure robots.txt for explicit GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended directives. Entity disambiguation across third-party sources so AI knows which 'Acme Inc.' is yours. Citation surface seeding on platforms AI learns from.
Why this session matters: Layer 5 is the new layer most consultants do not even know exists. The pieces emerged in 2024-2025. Implementing this layer correctly produces measurable AI mention gains within 30-60 days.
Measurement and Handoff
All Layers
Weeks 9-10
Deliverable: Final AIVS Score change documented + maintenance roadmap + team handoff
Re-run the 30-query AIVS Score. Compare to Session 1 baseline. Document score change layer-by-layer. Build a maintenance roadmap your team can run independently after the engagement ends. Optional: subscribe to AIVS dashboard tracking for ongoing monthly score monitoring.
Why this session matters: Most engagements end with a deliverable PDF and no proof of change. This session is the proof. The score change becomes your defensible argument for AI Visibility investment going forward.
The 30-query AI Visibility Score runs at Session 1 and Session 9. The change between them is the engagement's defensible proof of work.
Most engagements move score from under 10 percent to between 30 and 60 percent in 90 days. That number is not a guarantee. It is a typical range based on the last 50+ Action Plans. Some engagements outperform; some lag because E-E-A-T signal acquisition compounds slowly.
Frequently Asked
Why 9 sessions and not more or fewer?+
9 covers every layer of the AI Visibility Stack with one session per major implementation block plus a baseline session and a handoff session. Fewer sessions means rushed implementation. More sessions stretches engagement past the 90-day window where momentum tends to stall. 9 is the productized number for the methodology.
How long does the full process take?+
90 days from kickoff to handoff. Sessions are scheduled at 7 to 10 day intervals to allow time for implementation between meetings. Faster pace is possible for clients with internal dev resources; slower pace works if you need more time per layer. The 90-day frame is a default, not a hard constraint.
What if I cannot implement between sessions?+
Two paths. One: I implement on your behalf (the engagement price moves up the 8,000 to 15,000 CAD range to cover the additional time). Two: we slow the cadence so each layer has 14 to 21 days for implementation. Both paths exist; we decide in Session 1 based on your team's capacity.
Do I get the work product after each session, or only at the end?+
After each session. Every session ends with a written summary, decisions made, action items assigned, and links to any code or schema or content shipped. The summaries also feed the AIVS dashboard so you see your score change session-over-session. The full session log becomes a permanent reference asset.
Can I start the System without an Action Plan?+
Technically yes, recommended no. The Action Plan tells me which Stack layer is most broken before Session 1, which lets me sequence the System for maximum leverage. Starting the System cold means Session 1 is partly diagnostic, which costs leverage. Most clients run the Action Plan first.
What happens if my AI Visibility Score does not move?+
Two things. One: the engagement deliverable still ships (every session has a written outcome you keep regardless). Two: I diagnose why at no additional cost. Most score-stalling cases trace to E-E-A-T signal acquisition lag, which compounds over 6-12 months past engagement end and is not always visible by the 90-day mark.
Can my team participate in sessions?+
Yes. Up to 4 named team members per session at no additional cost. Most engagements have the founder plus one technical lead in every session. Larger teams (5+) work but the pace slows because more people means more decisions to align.
Do you implement schema yourself or do I?+
Depends on the engagement scope. Implementation by my team adds time and increases price toward the upper end of the range. Implementation by your team is faster and lower-cost. Most engagements blend: I write the schema specs, your developer implements them, I validate. Sessions cover both paths.
How is the engagement billed?+
Per session, not upfront. If after Session 1 or 2 you decide it is not the right fit, you stop and only pay for the sessions delivered. No clawback, no contract trap. Most cancellations happen between Session 1 and Session 2 when the buyer realizes they want to implement themselves.
What happens at the end of the 90 days?+
The maintenance roadmap is yours. You can run it independently with your team. Or you can subscribe to AIVS dashboard tracking at 199 CAD/month or 999 CAD/year to keep monitoring your AI Visibility Score post-engagement. About 70 percent of clients run tracking for 6-12 months post-engagement, then renew or pause.
Start with the
Action Plan.
The 9-session System starts with a baseline. The Action Plan establishes that baseline before the engagement begins, so Session 1 ships implementation, not diagnosis.
