Every consultant in the AI Visibility space talks about results. Most are vague about which results they actually control. Here is the plain-English version: what is guaranteed, what is not, and why the distinction matters.
What I do guarantee
Six things on every engagement.
Verifiable AI Visibility Score change
Every System engagement starts with a 30-query AIVS Score baseline (10 buying-intent queries × 3 platforms). Every engagement ends with the same 30-query measurement. The change between them is your defensible proof of work. Most engagements move from under 10 percent to between 30 and 60 percent in 90 days.
Complete delivery of the productized scope
AI Visibility Action Plan: full 5-layer analysis with prioritized roadmap, delivered within 5 business days. AI Visibility Build: three custom tools shipped on your site within 14 days. AI Visibility System: 9 sessions delivered with a written summary per session. Scope is fixed; delivery is non-negotiable.
Plain-English diagnosis if outcomes lag
If your AI Visibility Score has not moved meaningfully by the end of the engagement, I diagnose why at no additional cost. Most score-stalling cases trace to E-E-A-T signal acquisition (Layer 4), which compounds over 6-12 months past engagement end and is not always visible at the 90-day mark. The diagnosis is yours.
Per-session billing on the System
The 9-session AI Visibility System bills per session, not upfront. If after Session 1 or 2 you decide it is not the right fit, you stop and only pay for the sessions delivered. No clawback clause, no contract trap. About 5 percent of clients exercise this.
Source code ownership on the Build
Every tool shipped during the AI Visibility Build is delivered to you with full source code on day 14. You can host it yourself, modify it, migrate it, or hand it to a different developer. There is no ongoing license, no vendor lock-in, no recurring fee for the tools.
Direct communication, not chatbots or ticket systems
You communicate with me. Not an account manager, not a chatbot, not a ticket queue. Email, Loom, or scheduled session. Same person who delivers the work is the person you talk to about it. Engagement-wide.
What I do not guarantee
Six things no honest consultant should promise.
Specific AI quote in a specific product
I will not guarantee that ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews will mention your business in a specific query. AI assistants update retrieval continuously and no consultant controls their algorithms. Any consultant who guarantees this is being dishonest.
Ranking on a specific Google search results position
I will not guarantee top-N ranking on Google for any keyword. SEO is not the deliverable; AI Visibility is. Google rankings often improve as a side effect of the methodology, but the productized engagement targets the AIVS Score, not Google ranking specifically.
Revenue or lead-volume targets
I will not guarantee a specific number of leads, calls, demos, or revenue from the engagement. Those depend on your offer, your pricing, your sales process, and your market. AI Visibility is one input; conversion is another business problem entirely.
Outcomes within timelines outside the engagement
Engagement ends at 90 days (System) or 14 days (Build). Outcomes that show up later are real but unverifiable as caused by the engagement. If you want extended measurement, the optional AIVS dashboard subscription (199 CAD/month or 999 CAD/year) tracks score change post-engagement.
Refunds on completed sessions
Once a session has been delivered (written summary issued, action items assigned), it is not refundable. Per-session billing means you can stop the engagement at any time and only pay for what was delivered. Refunds on completed work would create a perverse incentive to under-deliver early sessions.
Outcomes from advice I give you that you choose to ignore
If the Action Plan or System recommends specific implementations and your team does not implement them, the outcomes are not on me. Most engagements include implementation by either my team or yours. If you choose to take the methodology and not act on it, that is your call and not the methodology's failure.
Most consultants in this space promise outcomes they do not control.
I get it. The AI Visibility category is new. Buyers are skeptical. Vague guarantees feel like the easiest way to close a sale. The problem is, when those guarantees do not hold up, the consultant has lost the relationship and the buyer has lost the budget. Both sides are worse off.
Honest guarantees on what I deliver. Honest non-guarantees on what I do not control. The methodology either works for you or it does not. Either way, you keep the deliverables and the diagnosis. That is the whole guarantee.
Frequently Asked
Why guarantee the score change but not the AI quote?+
The score change is something I control by doing the methodology correctly. AI quotes from ChatGPT or Perplexity are something the AI assistant controls based on its training data and retrieval algorithm. I cannot guarantee what I do not control. I can guarantee what I deliver.
What happens if my score moves less than expected?+
I diagnose why, free of additional charge. Most score-stalling cases come down to one of three patterns. One: Layer 4 (E-E-A-T) signal acquisition lag (compounds over 6-12 months). Two: industry-specific search demand patterns I underestimated at baseline. Three: implementation gaps where the work shipped but had not been crawled yet at re-measurement. The diagnosis tells you which pattern applies.
Is there a money-back guarantee on the Action Plan?+
The Action Plan has no cost so the question of money-back does not apply. If you submit the form and the Action Plan is not delivered within the stated timeline (5 business days, complex sites up to 10), I tell you why and either deliver or remove you from the queue with no obligation either direction.
Is there a money-back guarantee on the Build?+
Not in the sense of full refund. The Build bills 50 percent on quote approval, 50 percent on delivery. If you cancel after the deposit but before delivery, deposit is non-refundable (it has covered the discovery and partial build work). If I fail to deliver within 14 days for reasons within my control, the second 50 percent is waived.
Is there a money-back guarantee on the System?+
Per-session billing is the equivalent. You stop whenever you decide to and only pay for sessions delivered. If you cancel after Session 3, you owe for Sessions 1, 2, and 3. No retroactive refund on completed sessions because each one shipped a written deliverable you keep.
What if I don't get any leads from this work?+
Leads depend on conversion infrastructure (offer, pricing, landing page, sales process) which is downstream of AI Visibility and outside the engagement scope. The engagement makes you visible to AI assistants. What you do with that visibility is the business problem the engagement does not solve. Many engagements pair with a separate conversion audit if leads are the constraint.
Can you guarantee my business will rank in ChatGPT for [specific query]?+
No. I will not guarantee specific AI mentions on specific queries from specific platforms. What I guarantee is the methodology and the score change. Specific quote outcomes are downstream of variables outside my control: AI assistant retrieval changes, query-time variability, knowledge cutoffs, model updates, and competitor activity.
What if you go out of business or stop doing this work?+
Every deliverable is yours to keep regardless of my business status. Action Plan, Build source code, System session summaries, AIVS dashboard data export. None of it is locked behind my continued service. If you ever need to migrate to another consultant, the deliverables are documentation enough to hand off.
